Privacy policy
What we collect, why, and who else sees it. No fine print beyond this.
Accounts and identity
Sign-up and sign-in are handled by Clerk, which stores your email and authentication details. We store a minimal profile ourselves: your plan, unlock history, saved cards, and ship-log status, keyed to your Clerk account id.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Stripe shares back a customer id and subscription status, which we use to unlock paid features on your account.
Analytics
We use PostHog for product analytics (which pages you visit, which features you use) and Vercel Web Analytics for basic traffic stats. Both are used to understand what’s working, not to sell your data.
Advertising
We run ads on Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and TikTok, and both platforms’ pixels/SDKs run on this site to measure ad performance: page views, sign-ups, and purchases. We also send a matching, hashed version of these same events directly from our servers (Meta’s Conversions API and TikTok’s Events API), your email and any Meta/TikTok click id are one-way hashed before being sent, and are used only for ad measurement and matching, never sold.
Transactional email (welcome, purchase receipts) and an optional weekly digest of new build cards are sent through Resend. You can unsubscribe from the weekly digest at any time via the link in that email; transactional email can’t be turned off since it’s tied to account/purchase actions you take.
Cookies
We set a first-party cookie to remember which ad campaign or link brought you here (utm parameters, Meta/TikTok click ids), so we can tell which ads actually work. Meta and TikTok’s own pixel scripts may also set their own cookies for the same purpose. Clerk and Stripe set cookies needed to keep you signed in and to complete checkout. None of this is used to track you across unrelated sites for anything beyond ad measurement.
